At Riga International Airport, Departure sectors A and B are intended for flights to the Schengen Agreement member states, and Departure sectors C and D are for the flights to non-Schengen countries. Please see the map of the Terminal here.
In order to attain high-level security throughout the EU, common rules and standards are adopted for screening of passengers, carry-on and hold baggage, and aircraft security control. Common EU regulation is adopted with regards to dangerous goods that must not be checked in. The lists of such goods are displayed in the check-in area of the airport and are available here
